Chef Jim Douglas brings to your event an extraordinary culinary resume. He has a true passion for real food and global cuisine. Jim started his career as the chef owner of a successful restaurant in the Berkshire of Massachusetts and in turn added a famous banquet house, a historic inn and many popular vacation resorts in New England to his apron. Feeling the draw to the west coast, Jim headed to California, where he took a position working for the celebrated Wolfgang Puck as Executive Chef at the Wolfgang Puck Café in Newport Beach. In May of 2006 Jim traveled to Siena, Italy to cook as a Global Chef and immerse himself in Italian Cuisine and Culture. Upon returning to California worked with popular Chef Mai Pham of Lemon Grass Restaurant in Sacramento, Ca. In 2006 Jim started California Fresh Catering with the dream of creating extraordinary events with truly exceptional food!
